DAVID DEANE - Principal

for Industry Innovation, Inspiration and team performance

EXPERIENCE - David has been selling real estate since 1972, and through his own business for more than twenty years. Ten thousand home sales later, his skills have developed and improved with age. He was recently described by an industry leader as a "master of his chosen profession". His forte has been to build a great team around him and this year the team is better than ever.

EDUCATION - David is one of the few local agents to complete a formal real estate course. Real Estate has been his chosen career and this reflects in the way he does business. He has spent a lifetime keeping abreast of technology, skills and training. This has included many trips to world congresses, training with LJHooker, First National, Jenman, Best Practice, Stephen Covey and many REIQ courses. Recently David has delivered several keynote address's to National real estate congress's.

HOBBIES - David & Elizabeth, his wife of more than 30 years, have recently become proud grandparents, with five grandchildren. They have rural interests, follow most sports, try and play golf, enjoy the beach, fishing and travelling.

Belinda Deane - Director |Licencee | Snr Property Manager

Winner of ARERA Australasian Property Manager of the Year, 2008

What instantly stands out about Belinda is her strong communication skills and the personable nature she has developed over her many years in Real Estate. Following her father, David Deane into the industry, her various roles over the years has given her a broad and thorough knowledge of all aspects of Real Estate including Administration, Property Management, Trust Accounting and Residential Sales.

Working in the business since the tender age of 15 she has achieved some amazing accolades, most recently, Australasian Property Manager of the Year 2008 & Australasian Property Management Team 2009.

Belinda’s roll now expands to include the overall control of Property Management with her emphasis on growth, new managements and owner service.
She also fills the role of Business Development Officer for sales and holds her full Real Estate Licence.

George Fragos - Sales Contract Administrator

George is a valued member of the David Deane Team. His main goal is to ensure that the administration of contracts is completed in a timely and professional manner. George has implemented a program to keep staff updated of all the current legal requirements. The Property Agents and Motor Dealers Act 2000 and the Practice Code of Conduct guidelines are at all times strictly adhered to. This offers our customers peace of mind that their affairs are professionally and ethically managed.

It is through this program that enables David Deane & Associates to continue to be an industry leader.

George's interest outside of property matters are his family and his wife's large extended "Greek" family, the Sunshine Coast hinterland farm and the round ball game - soccer.

Scott Deaves - Director of Sales

Experience - Scott started with David Deane & Associates in May 2000, coming from a 17 year career with Woolworth's (Qld) Limited as a Retail Store Manager. Along with the Managerial functions associated with that career Scott excelled in the field of Customer Service - conducting numerous courses training others in the importance of providing service second to none.

Scott is also an accredited Workplace Health and Safety Officer and has undertaken many courses relating to Business, Training and Personal Development. Scott regularly attends Real Estate Sales Conferences (locally & interstate), attends workshops relating to Information Technology for Real Estate and holds a current registration certificate as a licensed Real Estate Salesperson.

Scott is a firm believer in a couple of basic, simple ideals that continues to provide success - "Treat people the way you would want to be treated and Teamwork" With these as a focus, everyone is a winner, The Home Seller and The Home Buyer.

Adam Ingram - Sales Consultant

I am in my mid 40's and have a beautiful wife & 5 wonderful kids.

Experience: I joined David Deane Real Estate in 2001 and previously had been in Hotels, Nightclubs & Restaurant Management for 15 years, responsible for advertising, promotions, entertainment & recruitment.

Since I started working in Real Estate, I've never looked back. I enjoy coming to work as every day brings new challenges and I no longer have the same routine day after day.

My hobbies include Snooker, surfing, Golf which I am just starting to enjoy now I can hit the ball & Fishing on our boat with all of the kids. I am also a footy dad reliving my past through my very talented son Zac every Wednesday night & Sunday morning, I coach the kids to get closer to the action.

The best thing I love about my job is I get to help people everyday by fulfilling the Australian Dream of owning their home. The excitement & joy they encounter when they arrive to pick up the keys on settlement day is sometimes overwhelming - I wouldn't swap those feelings for anything!

Cassie Turner - Personal Assistant to Mark Rumsey

Growing up on a farm in Dalby with my parents and older brother, has given me a love for country life. I lived in Dalby with my family for 10years, then we moved to an estate in Meringandan for a short period of time. I now live in Pine Rivers where I have lived for 6 1/2 years. I completed my high schooling at Mount Alvernia College in Kedron where I was privileged to be School Captain in 2007. I can confidently say I am a peoples person and love interacting with new faces! When I finished high school I quickly got my foot into the Real Estate Business, following in my parents love of real esate and renovations.

I started out as a receptionist at a Real Estate firm in Fortitude Valley, quickly moving into Property Management as a Junior Property Manager. I am now working alongside Mark Rumsey where I am quickly and confidently learning the ropes in selling Real Estate! Each day I look forward to assisting people in buying and selling the greatest asset of their life, property.

Hobbies - I have a love of the outback, utes and rodeos! I love to spend my weekends testing out new camping hot spots!

Craig Johnston - Sales Consultant

Craig entered real estate following a strong family background within the industry, so with real estate his destiny, a rewarding and successful career has followed.

Over 20 years in the local area, Craig attended St Paul’s School, he has a wide appreciation and knowledge of the area and it's wide range of property styles. Jim Webber - Sales Consultant

Jim has been in and around the Pine Rivers Shire for more than 10 years now and planning to be around the Shire for many years to come. He has previously been in Mining and the Quarrying Industry with Boral Quarries in QLD and NSW for over 12 years in various roles including supervisory roles on various sites.

Jim has a big interest in the Investment property field and has first hand experience in optimizing rental returns and property value maximizing.

Erin Osmond - Personal Assistant to Jim Webber

Erin comes from an administration background extending over 9 years, including retail sales & customer service.

She is the newest member of the David Deane team but has been working in real estate since 2007. Starting on Reception, she has worked her way up gaining experience in all areas of administration, sales support, marketing & advertising, and is now looking forward to new challenges as a Personal Assistant to Jim Webber.

Having already won awards both State & Nationally, Erin has been recognised for her hard work & dedication, and hopes to expand her knowledge and experience working within the David Deane team.

Erin purchased her first home at 18, and has recently purchased her second, where she spends her spare time with her fiancé & daughter.

Brad Holland - Sales Consultant

Brad grew up locally in West Chermside, graduated from Kedron State High School and entered the building and construction industry. While he enjoyed this experience, Brad quickly discovered his passion and ability in dealing with people, this of course led him into the initial stages of a profitable sales career.

With over 15 years experience under his belt, Brad now joins the team at David Deane Real Estate. Brad says "I am one of those fortunate people that genuinely enjoy what they do for a living, helping people to sell and also finding that perfect home for them to buy is extremely rewarding." Brad believes the key to his success in real estate is trust, dedication, integrity and always operating with the utmost of professionalism.

Sandy Simpson - Web Development | Marketing

Sandy has worked for over 20 years in administrative and I.T. roles in a variety of industry ranging from Real Estate to Radio, taking time off to have 3 children along the way.

Sandy has completed Certificates II and IV in Information Technology, majoring in Internet Technologies, and has spent many years in the I.T. field. She strives to maintain the strong internet presence that has made David Deane's web site one of the most successful real estate sites in the country. Sandy's I.T. skills ensures David Deane's clients can take full advantage of some of the most advanced technologies available in real estate today.

In her spare time, Sandy's love of the outdoors ensures lots of family time with her husband and 3 children camping and 4-wheel driving.

Chantel Lewis - Portfolio Property Manager

Winner of Quest Business Achievers - Employee Excellence Award 2008

Chantel joined the DDA team in 2006 after working in the Hospitality industry managing various stores. She currently holds a Certificate III in Business Administration and has partially completed a Diploma of Business.

Chantel joined the DDA team as Sales Receptionist bringing with her strong Customer Service skills and excellent administrative knowledge. Chantel quickly proved herself to be a capable and valued team member, eventually joining the Property Management team as Rental Receptionist. With the intense training that DDA provides and a genuine passion and aptitude for property management, Chantel quickly rose through the ranks, learning every aspect of property management, and has recently won the position of Senior Property Manager..

Chantel now leads a multi-award winning team, the most recent award being 2009 Australasian RER Property Management Team of the Year.

Cassy Levinge - Portfolio Property Manager

Cassy has lived in Brisbane for almost 4 years, and now lives locally with her two children. Cassy enjoys spending time with friends and family, live music and her love of life is infectious.

Cassy completed her Certificate in Real Estate and won a position as Sales Support / Reception with a small local real estate office. She then took a break from Real Estate, but the passion never left, so she's now back on deck in the industry as a valuable member of the DDA Team.

Nadia has rejoined our team as Rentals Receptionist after almost 4 years overseas. She prides herself on her great customer service skills and loves helping prospective tenants find their next home.

Nadia finished school in 2001 at St John Fisher College and has held administrative roles in the Real Estate industry since.
