DAVID DEANE - Principal

for Industry Innovation, Inspiration and team performance

EXPERIENCE - David has been selling real estate since 1972, and through his own business for more than twenty years. Ten thousand home sales later, his skills have developed and improved with age. He was recently described by an industry leader as a "master of his chosen profession". His forte has been to build a great team around him and this year the team is better than ever.

EDUCATION - David is one of the few local agents to complete a formal real estate course. Real Estate has been his chosen career and this reflects in the way he does business. He has spent a lifetime keeping abreast of technology, skills and training. This has included many trips to world congresses, training with LJHooker, First National, Jenman, Best Practice, Stephen Covey and many REIQ courses. Recently David has delivered several keynote address's to National real estate congress's.

HOBBIES - David & Elizabeth, his wife of more than 30 years, have recently become proud grandparents, with five grandchildren. They have rural interests, follow most sports, try and play golf, enjoy the beach, fishing and travelling.

Belinda Deane - Snr Property Manager

What instantly stands out about Belinda is her strong communication skills she has developed over her many years in Real Estate. Following her father, David Deane into the industry, her various roles over the years has given her a broad and thorough knowledge of all aspects of Real Estate including Administration, Property Management, Trust Accounting and Residential Sales.

Working in the business since the tender age of 15 she has achieved some amazing accolades, most recently, Australasian Property Manager of the Year 2008 & Australasian Property Management Team 2009.

Belinda’s roll now expands to include the overall control of Property Management with her emphasis on growth, new managements and owner service.

George Fragos - Sales Contract Administrator

George is a valued member of the David Deane Team. His main goal is to ensure that the administration of contracts is completed in a timely and professional manner. George has implemented a program to keep staff updated of all the current legal requirements. The Property Agents and Motor Dealers Act 2000 and the Practice Code of Conduct guidelines are at all times strictly adhered to. This offers our customers peace of mind that their affairs are professionally and ethically managed.

It is through this program that enables David Deane Real Estate to continue to be an industry leader.

George's interest outside of property matters are his family and his wife's large extended "Greek" family, the Sunshine Coast hinterland farm and the round ball game - soccer.

Scott Deaves - Senior Sales Consultant (10 years)

Experience - Scott started with David Deane & Associates in May 2000, coming from a 17 year career with Woolworth's (Qld) Limited as a Retail Store Manager. Along with the Managerial functions associated with that career Scott excelled in the field of Customer Service - conducting numerous courses training others in the importance of providing service second to none.

Scott is also an accredited Workplace Health and Safety Officer and has undertaken many courses relating to Business, Training and Personal Development. Scott regularly attends Real Estate Sales Conferences (locally & interstate), attends workshops relating to Information Technology for Real Estate and holds a current registration certificate as a licensed Real Estate Salesperson.

Adam Ingram - Sales Consultant - 10 years service

I am in my mid 40's and have 5 wonderful kids.

Experience: I joined David Deane Real Estate in 2001 and previously had been in Hotels, Nightclubs & Restaurant Management for 15 years, responsible for advertising, promotions, entertainment & recruitment.

Since I started working in at David Deane Real Estate, I've never looked back.

I enjoy coming to work as every day brings new challenges and I no longer have the same routine day after day. My hobbies include Snooker, Surfing, Fishing & Golf which I am just starting to enjoy now I can hit the ball.

I am reliving my childhood through my very talented kids whilst still trying to be their rolemodel. The best thing I love about my job is I get to help people everyday by fulfilling the Australian Dream of owning their home!

Craig Johnston - Sales Consultant

Craig entered real estate following a strong family background within the industry, so with real estate his destiny, a rewarding and successful career has followed.

Brad Holland - Sales Consultant

Brad grew up locally in West Chermside, graduated from Kedron State High School and entered the building and construction industry. While he enjoyed this experience, Brad quickly discovered his passion and ability in dealing with people, this of course led him into the initial stages of a profitable sales career.

With over 15 years experience under his belt, Brad now joins the team at David Deane Real Estate. Brad says "I am one of those fortunate people that genuinely enjoy what they do for a living, helping people to sell and also finding that perfect home for them to buy is extremely rewarding." Brad believes the key to his success in real estate is trust, dedication, integrity and always operating with the utmost of professionalism.

Chrissie Hoffman - PA to Mark Rumsey

Chrissie joined the David Deane Team at the beginning of 2012, her primary role as PA to successful agent Mark Rumsey.

Chrissie's parents have a keen interest in investment properties and property improvement and from there has grown her passion for the industry and all things property related. She is young, enthusiastic and has a flair for interior design and decorating.

Chrissie comes from a hospitality and promotions background and really enjoys helping people and building relationships. She graduated high school in 2008 with a Cert III in Business Administration.

Chrissie has enjoyed living in the local area her whole life. She is an animal lover and her spare time is often spent taking her dogs for walks in the beautiful parks this area has to offer.

Cassie Turner - Sales Consultant

Cassie is a true local girl who has lived in Bray Park for 8 years and has just recently purchased a property for herself in Kallangur. Cassie graduated high school in 2007 after representing her school as College Captain.

Cassie has been working in Real Estate since the day she graduated high school. She started out as a receptionist at a firm in Fortitude Valley, quickly moving into Property Management as a Junior Property Manager. Cassie joined the David Deane Team in early 2009 working alongside Mark Rumsey in Sales. Such is her passion and commitment, Cassie is now operating as a fully qualified Sales Consultant.

Cassie is a remarkable young woman who fits our team perfectly and enjoys the challenges and the diversity that Real Estate entails.

Tia Jensen - Sales Support

Tia started at David Deane Real Estate in July 2010. After graduating from Wavell State High School she started an administrative role for a company in Strathpine and has been working in the area ever since.

This is Tia's first time in the Real Estate industry but she is looking forward to expanding her knowledge and growing within the company.

Tia's delightful personality and honest friendly customer service skills make her a perfect choice for our front office "Director of First Impressions".

Chantel Lewis - Senior Property Manager

Winner of Quest Business Achievers - Employee Excellence Award 2008

Chantel joined the DDA team in 2006 after working in the Hospitality industry managing various stores. She currently holds a Certificate III in Business Administration and has partially completed a Diploma of Business.

Chantel joined the DDA team as Sales Receptionist bringing with her strong Customer Service skills and excellent administrative knowledge. Chantel quickly proved herself to be a capable and valued team member, eventually joining the Property Management team as Rental Receptionist. With the intense training that DDA provides and a genuine passion and aptitude for property management, Chantel quickly rose through the ranks, learning every aspect of property management, and has recently won the position of Senior Property Manager..Chantel now leads a multi-award winning team, the most recent award being 2009 Australasian RER Property Management Team of the Year.

Shaun Baxter - Property Inspector

Sarah Jane Petersen - Property Manager

 

Sarah-Jane joined our team in 2010. She began her Real Estate career in Administration where she moved on to being assistant to the Senior Property Manager and has recently been promoted to manage her own portfolio.

Sarah-Jane has a vibrant attitude and has proven herself to be a committed team player who is extremely proactive. She possesses strong organisational skills and a "can do" attitude, which are important assets when dealing with her varied and consistently busy role.

She is always looking forward and can't wait for what challenges lie ahead.

Kym James - Property Manager

Kym began her real estate career as sales support where she assisted some of real estate’s top sellers. From there she discovered that Property Management was the direction she wanted to take. Her passion for the industry really shines in her work. She has learnt a lot in the industry and is happy to answer any of the questions you may have.

Kym has that “personal touch” with tenants and landlords and goes out of her way to make sure everyone is kept happy. She has a can do attitude and a happy nature about her that makes her very approachable. She takes pride in her work and thoroughly enjoys her role.

Elizabeth joined us in early 2011 and proves to be a key member of the team at David Deane Real Estate.

She has an enviable reputation for her bubbly and approachable personality her diligence and attention to detail. Along with Elizabeth's exceptional eye for detail she has excellent communication and organizational skills and is a loyal and dedicated worker who brings a lot of energy and enthusiasm to the team.

Lynette Smith - Business Development Manager

 

Lynette has a passion and much experience in the real estate industry having spent 10 years selling properties all over Brisbane's northern suburbs, with a few of those years managing sales offices and teams of young agents new to the industry. Having reached a pinnacle of sales successes, Lynette is now focused on using her exceptional communication skills and experience in helping investors and landlords to have the best of experiences and outcomes with their investment properties.

Lynette has a diversity of interests outside of work which includes art (painting specifically), sailing and fishing. She has a 22 year old daughter who also works in the industry and they spend much time sharing stories of their experiences and successes.
